I can't help but think that even though the girl I am seeing says soothing words to me over the phone, when we are together, there doesn't seem to be something right. Something along the lines that she has something on her mind at all times. I don't know if I can be straight forward with her because of how she might take things. Whaat would you think to be the best way to get her feelings out of her?

What is wrong with the two of you? Why can't either of you seem to communicate with one another? If you mean anything to each other, you should be able to say whatever you need to say without too much worry.

If you're really concerned that she doesn't seem to feel the same about you in person as she seems to over the phone, perhaps you are perceiving things correctly. Maybe you're not exactly her idea of the perfect guy. Over the phone, maybe she can convince herself that you are. In person, it might be tougher to lie to herself. This may be something that she is consciously doing, or she may not even be aware of these feelings.

In any event, these are things you need to discuss. It would be better to know now if she doesn't really love you, than to find out later. If it's something else, you need to know what it is so that you can help rectify things. If it is something that has nothing to do with you, you still need to know so that you can offer her your support.

Sit her down, and tell her what's on your mind. If you can't find a way to do that, sit her down at the computer and show her this letter. Then tell her that you wrote it. See what she has to say. Whether you believe it or not, the worst thing that could happen is not that she will tell you that she doesn't love you. The worst thing that could happen is that nothing gets resolved and the relationship falls apart later on, after more has been invested in it.

My dad is always suspicious whem I'm surfing on the WWW he thinks I'm always looking foor free xxx pics. What should I do to convince him I'm not intrested in staring at nud pics... Help me !

You're not interested in nude pics? What the hell is wrong with you? Sexuality is something very natural. I think your father should know that, otherwise you wouldn't be here.

I think you shouldn't worry so much about what your father thinks, and do whatever you like, in this situation. Remember, your father's generation, in general, knows nothing about computers. He might be jealous of your knowledge and ability about something that perplexes him. His generation had to go out and do stuff to experience things. Ours can sit on its collective ass and left-click throughout the world, experiencing things at a much faster rate.

Maybe you could find some things on the web about things he'd be interested in, and have a surf session with him. The two of you can surf the web together, thereby showing him that nude pics are not all that makes up the world wide web. Also, you'd help him to come to terms with something from which he probably feels distant.

Then again, your dad could be a computer whiz. If that's the case, forget everything I said, and listen to your elders.

Born and raised in NYC, LadyJ developed a quick wit and an acid tongue to entertain her friends, and cut down those foolish enough to oppose her.

This abrasiveness earned her a reputation as a heartless bitch in some circles, but those closest to her still believe she has a great capacity for understanding and caring, and a talent for advice.

On this website, LadyJ offers herself both to help those who ask her advice, and to entertain those who find her humorous. Those who fall into neither category are leftovers, and we all know that no one likes leftovers.

So, if you have a problem that you need help with, and the courage to accept her advice...

Ask LadyJ!
